OK well I KNOW Sam's older colection and now even more extended one would NEVER ever fit into her trunk. I have also seen it many times that Molly's would also never hold her entire collection either.

Then Kirsten and Addy's trunks pretty well do. I am not sure if the one for Kirsten will hold everything including her bed though.

I am sure there are others who can fill you in on the majority of others.

For those of you who have the doll trunks, do they store a complete collection of outfits and the small accessories? I'd really love to get Josefina's, Kit's, Addy's, and Kirsten's (not all at once, of course!), but it's hard to justify the expense. It'd be a little easier if they held most or all of each doll's collection since then I could get rid of all the boxes and save on storage space. Thanks!

I have a homemade version of Kirsten's trunk and all her clothes and Addy's fit in it. Before Addy came along, Kirsten's entire collection fit in the trunk. However, the AG version has the bottom separated into two compartments and then has a tray that fits on top but it is possible to squish all her stuff in there if you really try.

Josefina's trunk will hold her whole collection. We have everything for her except her bed and everything fits nicely. Josefina doesn't fit in the trunk, though, with her things. Hope your able to get the trunks I haven't seen the others, but I definitely think Josefina's is worth the price.

    Hope this helps

Thanks for the responses so far! I'm moving to Oregon this week and since we sold our house my DH and I each get a little bit of fun money to treat ourselves. I've been thinking about the trunks, because once we get up there my husband(he's a carpenter and does wood-working) is going to make me a doll cabinet (or two!) that will fit the scenes and settings and furniture in for display. But I still need a place to store outfits and accessories and I thought the trunks might be great and look nice on top of the cabinets. But for the price I really want them to hold all the outfits and small accessories so I don't have to deal with other storage anymore. Maybe I'll get Addy's and eventually Josefina's and then just have my husband make Kirsten's and perhaps a colonial type one for Felicity. I can't afford the Clothes Press.

I always wished Felicity had a trunk--the clothes press seems so impractical compared to the others! I think they're beautiful, though, so I know you'll be happy with whatever you end up getting!

Congratulations horsemom!! I know you've mentioned you were wanting to move to Oregon. I'm sure you are so excited! That's wonderful about you're selling the house and being able to realize your dream. We are still working on ours and want to have ours up for sale by Thanksgiving so we can move to the country. I've been thinking about the order I'm going to place with some of the extra we get for the sale of ours. Hope you have a safe and happy move!

Thanks! I am excited, but also so frazzled right now! It's the first time we've moved so far, and we have to have our horses shipped and move our dogs and cat... it's a bit overwhelming, but it'll be great next week when we're three blocks from horse trails! After having horses in the suburbs, I'm really looking forward to more space and horsey neighbors. We're planning to buy an acreage and build, and it's so exciting to think about designing the house and horse facilities.

I wish you luck with your house sale and dreams; I've wanted to move to the middle of nowhere since I was a child!

You are going to love having your horses in the country with you!!!! The only downfall is that you will want to be out there with them all of the time! LOL!

I have 250 acres to ride on, but I think I'll load Hilde up and come see you!!! I love Oregon! ( Just kidding, of course!) Actually...I live in such a rural area, that hitting the interstate with my truck and trailer is really scarey for me. I'm such a hick.

Anyway! Congratulations on your move! I know you will be so happy....and so will your horses.
